Efficient processes make for a good customer experience and better results. At Select Shopfitters Australia our commitment to quality isn’t just words, it’s at the heart of our entire process.

From the outset, we assign a dedicated Project Manager to oversee the entire job. This provides continuity, maintains rigorous quality control, eliminates risks and allows for thorough project tracking and regular reporting.

For our clients it means a smooth new build, fit out or refurbishment experience and complete peace of mind.

This is how our process works!


A clear understanding your ideas and key requirements is paramount before any design or quoting can commence.

We develop a comprehensive brief that covers everything from the look and feel you want to achieve, to location and layout, budget range and timeframes.

After assessing all information, we provide you with a Concept Overview that confirms our understanding of your requirements and what is achievable, and provides a ballpark estimate.


Select Shopfitters can work with your design or ours.

We collaborate with many design and architectural firms and stay true to their design intent. However, we also develop designs for many of our clients, leveraging our experience to make the most of the space and identify any site issues early in the process.

Once the design concepts are approved, a full set of construction drawings enable an accurate quotation to be completed.


You give your approval to proceed only when you are completely happy with the drawn plans and quotation details.

The project commences with a pre-start planning meeting with your Project Manager. This is a critical point where the site and plans/drawings are reviewed and the scope of work is clarified.

A work schedule and full project details are prepared and provided to all parties including sub-contractors.


At this stage, materials are ordered, set-out is prepared and production scheduled.

Select Shopfitters Australia in-house custom-built joinery facility is geared to handle all phases of the production process – job drawing, material cutting, job assembly, job finishing and delivery.

Our capability ranges from standard materials and finishes, to solid surface production and complex 3D thermoformed designs.

The job is then manufactured and subject to a meticulous inspection process before being delivered to the site.


To ensure installation is smooth and on-time installation, our Project Manager attends to all site-specific compliance and certifications, site supervision and sub-contractor management.


Once installation is complete, we conduct a formal Client Satisfaction Handover. This is your opportunity to comprehensively inspect the fit out, and alert us to any defects, variations or other requirements.

At this stage the job is regarded as complete, with any variations or additional work agreed on and attended to in a timely manner.
